What Crescendo-IQ is
Crescendo-IQ is the app your student's music program uses to track practice, take rehearsal attendance, work through skills, and keep motivation up. The director runs it; your student uses it to log practice, play learning games, and see their own growth.
What it collects
Your student's name, the profile fields their program asks for (like instrument or grade), and the activity they create by using it: practice minutes, attendance check-ins, skill progress, and their program director's coaching notes. That's it. No ads, no selling data, no tracking outside the app.
About recordings
Crescendo-IQ never stores your student's audio or video. If their program uses video pass-offs, your student records on their own device and shares a link from an account you control (like Google Drive or unlisted YouTube). Their program director watches it there; the file stays theirs.
What consent covers
When a program asks for your consent, it covers your student using the app for the program's activities as described here and in the Privacy Policy. Optional social features (like a class feed) are separate choices, off unless the program turns them on.
About emailed practice links
A practice-verification link lets you review one named practice session and confirm or deny it. It does not grant consent and cannot download your student's broader record. Contact the program's director for the current consent process or to request a copy of your student's data.
Changing your mind
You can revoke consent any time by telling the program's director or writing to legal@crescendo-iq.com. Your student's data can be exported for you or deleted on request.
